Turning Around the Low Attendance

According to the low attendance numbers this year at Walt Disney World, a new campaign has been started in hopes to increase the numbers again.  As most people know, Disney World is slow in changing things up a bit.  Not only that, but when prices start to rise, attendance slows down.  Funny how that works, am I right?

Not only has Disney been trying to turn their attendance numbers around with new lands (such as Star Wars, Toy Story, and Pandora), but they have even started a new campaign, “The Magic is Endless.” (If you would like to check it out, click here -> https://youtu.be/-NZRkvd5QKw ).  In my opinion, due to the fact that I’ve never been to Disney World, I would think that people would be excited to go to Disney World.  It’s a whole new realm needing to be explored.  On another note, since there’s a lot going on in the “construction world” for Star Wars land, and DINOSAUR being down for Who-knows how long, I could see it being a drag.  That’s just me though…

Disney is hoping and betting on this campaign, because other than the new lands coming in the next year or two, the next time they get any “big” attractions won’t be for a while.

What are your thoughts? Are Disney World’s hopes too high?  Or is it crazy enough that it just might work?
