The celebration of the Year of the Dragon has kicked off as the Lunar New Year 2024 Festival begins at Disney California Adventure. Full Guide to Lunar Nea Year Festival 2024 The festival runs through February 18, 2024. Decorations for Lunar New Year Festival Festival Tasting Passport The tasting passport is a pocket guide to the event, complete with map. You can collect stamps from kiosks around the festival in order to get a completion stamp (there is no prize). Entertainment Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession Since 2024 is the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese and Korean zodiac, Mushu gets a place of honor. Meilin and Ming Lee Meet & Greet Guests can meet Meilin and Ming Lee from “Turning Red” in the old stroller parking area for The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. More Meet & Greets Guests can also meet: Mickey & Minnie, Goofy, and Mulan & Mushu in Pixar Pier Raya from “Raya and the Last Dragon” at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail “Hurry Home” World of Color Lunar New Year Tag Returns The tag follows a red paper lantern’s journey home as it encounters Mushu and Mulan and enjoys a Lunar New Year feast. Food & Beverage Sip & Savor Pass The Sip and Savor Pass lets guests make a one-time purchase that allows them to choose six tasting portions of food and beverage items.
