Earlier this week, the internet finally got what they were waiting for, the official cast of Marvel Studios’ Fantastic 4 . Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach were officially revealed to be playing Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm respectively. It was also revealed their robotic sidekick H.E.R.B.I.E would also appear, but the question remains, who is playing the villains? According to The Insneider, Javier Bardem is the studios top choice to play Galactus. However, it is unknown if his availability has changed due to the strikes and his involvement on AppleTV+’s Formula 1 movie, which has Brad Pitt starring. I would expect this to happen, Disney has a great working relationship with Bardem following his roles in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest and The Little Mermaid . The studio is also currently meeting with actors to play the Silver Surfer. At this time, it is unknown how big of a role the character will play in the film. Lastly, the famous enemy to the Fantastic 4, Doctor Doom. The character isn’t expected to play the villain role in the movie, as Galactus will serve that role. However, the character will indeed make an appearance towards the end of the movie, which would likely tease a sequel or possible appearance in Avengers: Secret Wars . That said, casting would likely come during production, per the site. Fantastic Four  has been written by  Avatar  scribe Josh Friedman. Matt Shakman ( WandaVision ) is set to direct.  Moon Knight  producers Grant Curtis and Nick Pepin are also on board. Fantastic Four  will now hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
