It was a big week for Disney news! The semi-annual D23 is taking place now and there were a ton of announcements made regarding the future of Disney parks around the world. We have new attractions coming, entire lands being re-themed, opening dates and more. There is a new promo at Disney World that includes a free dining offer. 1 – HUGE Announcements Made at D23 Event About the Future of Walt Disney World
Destination D23 2023, a fan event, is underway at Walt Disney World. What fans were most interested in was the “A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” presentation where Disney teased that new information would be shared about future projects. During the presentation, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro and other Disney Cast Members shared a lot of news, including opening dates, new offerings, reimagined attractions and lands, and more! 4 – Annual Passholder Previews Coming to EPCOT
As announced at D23, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, officially opens on October 16, 2023. Ahead of that will be annual passholder and DVC member previews. Read below for details on the passholder previews from the Passholder Buzz.

The time has come for all you voyagers and wayfinders out there to find your way over to the newest experience at EPCOT! That’s right, Passholder Previews for Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana are coming to EPCOT 9/24-9/29 and 10/1-10/4/23.
Passholders with an EPCOT theme Park reservation on a preview date can enter the preview experience and be among the first to connect with water in new and unexpected ways just like Moana, discovering the importance and beauty of this living, overflowing, invaluable part of nature.
Stroll down the lush pathways and watch water spring to life all around you, making its natural cycle from rain to sea and back, and engage with its playful and sometimes mischievous personality along the way. You may even spot some familiar faces from the film throughout vour journey. (What can we say? You’re welcome.)
A uniquely EPCOT experience, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is located in World Nature and brings you closer to the water cycle than ever before, reminding Guests of the connection we all share with water and the power we have to protect it.

5 – Disney Cruise Line Reveals the Disney Treasure, the 6th Ship, Coming in December 2024!
This week, Disney Cruise Line revealed its newest ship, the Disney Treasure. The new ship will unlock the far-reaching realms of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel and embrace dynamic tales from beloved Disney Parks attractions through captivating and immersive experiences on the high seas.
The Disney Treasure, the sister ship to the Disney Wish that launched in 2022, will embark on its maiden voyage, a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida, on December 21, 2024, followed by an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral. Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can book a Disney Treasure cruise as early as September. 12, 2023, and bookings will open to all guests on September 20, 2023.
