Hello Disney-Lovers!

Today I came across some not-so-Disneytastic news; both Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios are debating whether they should have the Annual Passholders be blocked out for two months due to the opening of Star Wars Land.  The crowds are going to get insane, which means more of the moolah for Disney.  As many of us AP Disney-Lovers know, we don’t have to pay for a new ticket when going to the Disney parks DUE to the Annual Passes.  So, Disney doesn’t make that extra hundred to two-hundred bucks when entering the parks.  What does that mean for the Annual Passholders?  You guessed it!  Annual Passholders would have to buy a regular Disney Ticket in order to enter Star Wars Land for those first two months.  Lame, in my opinion.

On another note, its smart.  It means Disney is doing us a favor by staying away from the INSANE crowd levels if we go right when it opens.  Thank you, Disney.  For those who may be upset about this, don’t worry.  It hasn’t been confirmed (nor denied) that this is going to happen, and if it does, you can always buy a regular ticket and still enjoy the brand new land.  As for me, I wouldn’t go when it first opens in the first place.  Too many people, and the rides will probably be up to 300 minute waiting, which I would rather ride Winnie-the-Pooh 7 times before waiting 300 minutes for a ride I would enjoy going on. (I don’t have anything against Winnie-the-Pooh personally, I just don’t fancy the ride.)

What do you guys think?  Is it smart for Disney to put a two-month block on AP?
