The Golden Bachelor was built on the idea that love never dies, but apparently the Bachelor franchise doesn’t either. Just when you thought that you had seen it all, Disney announced that they are expanding the franchise once more. After the success of this fall’s The Golden Bachelor , ABC is working a spin-off of the series (and the overall reality dating competition) titled The Golden Bachelorette . Similar to the The Golden Bachelor , the show will follow an older, “golden” woman another chance at love. So far, there’s no word on who the leading lady will be, but there is a chance that it could be a contestant from The Golden Bachelor . That is, after all, how most of the series’ “Bachelorettes” have been chose over the years. The series will debut this summer.
