There is a BIG event coming to Disney World.
In 2022, the D23 Expo had a lot of announcements. We got to see what the Walt Disney statue coming to EPCOT would look like. We also learned that Te Fiti was coming to EPCOT. This year Destination D23 is on the horizon, and it’s returning to Disney World, and we’re expecting some BIG things.
D23 — Disney’s official fan club — posted a lot of new announcements about upcoming events for the rest of the year so we’re here to bring you some highlights. It was announced that for those unable to attend the D23 Conference in person, select presentations will be live-streamed on D23.com.
Current ticketholders to Destination D23 will gain priority first access to the exclusive shopping opportunities at this event, there will be a separate, specially ticketed experience for D23 Gold Members who aren’t attending. Fans will be offered a chance to shop at the Contemporary Resort with Mickey’s of Glendale, The Walt Disney Company Store, and the Ink & Paint Marketplace. There will be more information soon about this shopping experience.
Some other events coming up are to celebrate Halloween in a big way. First, the D23 Black Flame Ball: Spell-ebrating 30 Years of Hocus Pocus. This event will take place in Salem, MA.
D23 will also celebrate 25 years of Halloweentown in St. Helens, Oregon with a special screening of the film. D23 is also bringing a few classics to the film fest known as the Sleepy Hollow International Film Festival.
With this being the 100th anniversary of the Disney Company, we are seeing D23 celebrate in a big way. For more Disney news, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter at AllEars.net.
