Nicolas Cage was Ghost Rider, he was Superman, and most notably he was Spider-Man Noir in the Spider-Verse movies. Well, he may be making the leap back into a live-action comic book series. According to The Ankler, Cage is in serious talks to reprise his role as Spider-Man Noir, but this time it is for the characters own series, which is being setup at Amazon. Oren Uziel ( 21 Jump Street ) is set as the writer of the project and will serve alongside The Punisher co-showrunner Steve Lightfoot as co-showrunner and executive producer. Further details on cast and crew are being kept under wraps. Spider-Man: Noir will follow an older, grizzled superhero in 1930s New York City. An individual with knowledge of the project told the trade that the show will be set in its own universe and the main character will not be Peter Parker.
