Disney sets guidelines in place for Guests to have an overall enjoyable experience. New guidelines have been put in place for these popular Disney events.

Rules

If you have ever been to Disney, it may seem they have a lot of rules or guidelines for Guests to follow. These rules help ensure that everyone stays safe and also has a good experience.

These rules can range from what is allowed in to the park and even what Guests can wear. Following these rules truly can makes things more enjoyable for everyone. Nobody likes to be effected negatively when someone else breaks the rules.

runDisney

runDisney has FOUR race weekends at Walt Disney World and will soon bring races back to Disneyland.  What could be more fun than running through your favorite place? I know I am not alone because these races sell out FAST!

These races put you right in the middle of the magic. You can run through the Disney parks and get the chance to meet some very rare characters.

What makes these races even more fun, is participants get decked out as characters too. The costumes are part of the fun! It could even be as simple as a fun race themed shirt.

New Costume Guidelines

An email was recently sent to Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend participants informing them that they have updated the costume guidelines. Three things they pointed out in the email that are new include:

In the email, a link to the current guidelines is there. It is important to note that runDisney reserves the right to deny admission to any participant that they feel is inappropriate or could take away from the experience for other participants. Above I have bolded some of the guidelines that are making the most chatter in runDisney social media groups. It is important to note that many of these rules have been in place for some time. However, it seems that runDisney may be planning on being stricter with enforcing these in the upcoming race season.
